Kemerovo (Russian: Ке́мерово) is a city in Kemerovo Oblast, Western Siberia. Kemerovo is the capital of Kemerovo region or Kuzbass. It is a city with over half a million population, big enough for Siberia. Rivers Tom and Iskitimka run through the city.
Kemerovo (Russian: Ке́мерово,) is an industrial city and the administrative center of Kemerovo Oblast, Russia, located at the confluence of the Iskitim and Tom Rivers, in the major coal mining region of the Kuznetsk Basin. Its population was 532,981 in the 2010 Census. The city was known as Shcheglovsk until March 27, 1932.
